Steeped in history, Much Wenlock is a beautiful Market town nestled in some of the most glorious Shropshire countryside. Home to Dr William Penny Brookes who helped to inspire the birth of modern Olympic games, you can follow the Olympic trail which starts and ends at Much Wenlock Museum in the Town Square.

For walkers, Wenlock Edge is a long wooded escarpment stretching from the Wrekin to Craven Arms. Fantastic for Fossil hunting as this limestone ridge is the remains of a Coral Reef, going back 430 Million years.

Wenlock Priory - English Heritage beautiful remains of a large Cluniac Priory.

Within easy reach are Ironbridge hosting the World's first Iron Bridge, Blists Hill Victorian Museum Coalport China to name a few. Bridgnorth with its high and low towns are linked with the one of the oldest and steepest vanicular railways in England.

Shrewsbury is 12 miles away and is host to the famous Flower Show. You can also take a Canadian style canoe down the River Severn.
