With the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games coming to London, why not discover Much Wenlocks Olympic connection by following the Olympian Trail, 2100 metres long, which leads you around the town passing important sites and buildings associated with William Penny Brookes whose vision led to the revival of the Olympic Games in 1896 and whose enterprise brought many benefits to the town in the nineteenth century. The towns museum holds an array of objects which explore the unique story of the town and local countryside.
