About Us
John has been in the industry for 35 years and trained and worked at "The Savoy" in London. He then moved on to work in numerous leading prestige hotels throughout the country. He has a natural flair for creating wonderful dishes and cooking for people has always been his complete passion.
Hannah has worked in photography for the last 10 years, styling rooms for magazines and food packaging.
She is also a keen cook with a love of food but rarely gets the chance these days to get creative in the kitchen, as she is Front of House, and operates as the manager at The Fox these days.
Since taking over The Fox, we have worked tirelessly to provide our guests with something that little more unusual. We consider ourselves different to most high street hotels with everything having a personal touch to it. From creaky floorboards to sloping walls our Grade ll Listed 16th Century buliding has lots of lovely unusual features
Our menus are created by listening to what our guests want and like,, we change them every 6-8 weeks to keep our diners keen and happy.
Our light and airy restaurant seats 38 people easily and has now also been totally re-decorated with a relaxed atmosphere, and a lovely log fire.
We are members of the Heart of England Tourist Board and AA registered, and having recently refurbished the building we have now gained a 4 star Inn award from the AA.
We are also about to introduce Mini Bars into most of our rooms which will be stocked full of local goodies from the Heart of England Fine Foods, for you to purchase for yourself or as presents for friends.
Our next venture is to open The Fox as a Wedding Venue where you can hire the building for the night or weekend and we will do the rest, from organising the flowers, hair appointments and of course a fantastic menu for your very special day.
